There is but one God.
Truth is his name,
Maker of all things,
Free from fear and hate,
Timeless, birthless, self-existent,
Known by the grace of the Guru.
Meditate on the True Name,
True in the beginning,
True in all ages.
He is true now
And he shall ever be true, says Nanak.
